So - the Haulzak seat frame is cracked - and no seems to have replacements. I have been forced to come up with a 2-pronged recovery strategy.
1. Find a way to get the seat taken care of. I am signed up for a metal working class with a local industrial arts organization - and will make a replacement seat (learning some welding and other bits along the way)
2. I picked up an older Linear LWB recumbent that I will do some minor rehab on - and be able to start getting recumbent muscles in shape. This will be my "learn basic bike repair" bike - since I probably need to replace front chain ring, chain and rear cassette.
